Pantry Ledger
Home food storage inventory. Snap a label and this reads the date, sorts the shelf life, and tells you what to use first.
How long would this last?
Worked out from who's in your household and what's actually on the shelf. Water is usually the surprise.
Add an item
Take more than one photo of the same item — one of the front label, then a close-up of just the date stamp filling the frame. Get within 6–8 inches, hold steady, and avoid glare or shadow across the printing. Tap a thumbnail to check it's sharp before analyzing.
Send a label photo to Claude in your chat conversation, then paste the code block it gives you back here. Tell Claude how many you have and it'll include a "quantity" in the block.

Household
Who you're packing for. Ages pick the right starting list, and the app flags a kit when someone grows into a different one.
72-Hour Kits
A kit is measured against a target list, so this tells you what's missing as well as what's expiring. Water pouches, batteries and medications get a rotation interval instead of a printed date.
Inventory
Good = more than 6 months out · Use soon = within 6 months or no confirmed date margin · Expired = past estimated date · Needs info = no readable date, add one manually to track it precisely.
Reminders
An email digest of what's expiring, what's due for rotation, and what's missing from your kits. This is the part that works while you're not thinking about it.
Backup
This is a snapshot of the shared database, in case you ever need to move it or recover from a connection issue.
